DH IPTV – Datenschutzerklärung
Kurz gesagt

In short
DH IPTV does not collect any data about you. There are no ads, no tracking, no analytics and no developer server the app sends anything to.

What the app processes
- Login of your IPTV provider (server, username, password) that you enter yourself. It is stored on your device – on Apple devices in the keychain and, if you use iCloud, in your iCloud so it is available on your other devices.
- Favorites, custom lists, history and playback progress. They stay on your device or, on Apple devices, sync between your devices via your iCloud. On Fire TV they stay on the device only.
- App settings, e.g. the live format. They stay on the device.
The developer has no access to any of this data.
Connections to your provider
To load channel lists, program information, artwork and streams, the app connects directly to the server of the IPTV provider you entered. That provider receives technically necessary data such as your IP address and your login. Your provider is responsible for this processing; its privacy policy applies.
QR code sign-in and import
On Apple TV and Fire TV the app can provide a small web page in your local network so you can enter your login or favorites on your phone or computer. It only runs while the corresponding screen is open, is reachable only within your local network and sends the data directly to your TV.
iCloud
On Apple devices the app uses iCloud key-value storage to sync your accounts, favorites and progress between your devices. This data is stored in your iCloud account; Apple's privacy policy applies. Without iCloud everything stays local.
App stores
When you download the app from Apple's App Store or the Amazon Appstore, Apple or Amazon process data according to their own privacy policies. The developer only receives aggregated, anonymous statistics (e.g. number of downloads).
Your rights
As the developer does not store any personal data about you, you can delete all data yourself: remove the account in the app or delete the app (and, on Apple devices, remove the app data in your iCloud settings if needed). For questions, contact us at the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).
Changes
If the app changes in a way that affects how data is handled, this page will be updated.
